Chapter 1
Introduction

A.     Background of the study

One of the most issues today, is people who are lesbian or bisexual. You know, they always judged by the people around them saying something but mostly negative. They always discriminated. That’s why some ofthem were afraid to come out. They were afraid of being bullied or something. Lesbian is a female same sex attraction. Lesbian is a term most widely used in the English language to describe sexual and romantic attraction between females. Bisexuality is romantic attraction, sexual attraction or behavior toward males and females. The term is mainly used in the context of human attraction to denote romantic or sexual feelings toward men and women. Bisexual are attracted to both male and female. Also, the said reason why are more and more girls becoming lesbian or bi is because it’s their choice or influence by environment, biological/genetic or significant event such as a rape or any unstable situations.
They say that most women are bisexual by nature. Also, they discovered that these bisexual feelings increase with age. Women who at a younger age, believe to be exclusively attracted to women, tend to change their minds too. For a period of 15 years, psychologist Lisa Diamondfollowed a group of women who first said to be attracted to the same sex. Herdata shows how their sexuality develops over time. At the end of the study sheasked them to identify their sexual orientation again, giving them the options lesbian, bisexual, heterosexual or indeterminate.
Knowing that being a bi is hard. Especially to the bi-curious, who don’t know if they are bisexual or not because they just suddenly feel something different. And especially, when you’re still kid and you feel like you’re liking a same sex, and they said that, women get morebisexual as they grow older.  So this study can make questions answered.

B.      Statement of the problem.

This study aims to answer this question:

1.      Why women get more bisexual as they grow older?

C.      Significance of the Study

To the LGBT communities. This research paper would be able to help people who are part of this community because most of them don’t know about this especially boys.

To the bi-curious. This study would make bi-curious know what they really are. Especially this paper talks about emotional feelings because I know, all of them asking if they were bisexual because they having a crush on same sex.

To the future researchers. The ideas presented may be used as reference in conducting new researches or they can get any ideas in this paper when they do research.

D.     Scope and Delimitations

This study focuses in two different issues. This study will only discuss the bisexual feels if when they are with men and with a women. This study will no longer discuss of what they feel in different sex.

E.      Material and Methods

This research paper uses a descriptive method because the researcher’s aim is to describe and to discuss a bisexual feels when they are with men and with a women. The researcher will also use articles and the internet as guides in making this research. The researcher will also conduct a survey in order to support the outcome of this study.

F.       Definition of terms

9. Bisexual history.

All people, male and female, are born bisexual and like a light switch held between on and off, will usually fall into one of two extremes. On the whole, did not consider homosexuality to be an aberration or sickness in and of itself, but those societal pressures would undoubtedly contribute to unhealthy fetishes and sexual behaviors.

I've read an article about “Lesbian history” by Gregory S. Storms. Bisexual women activists realized this point early on, especially because it impacted their lives with greater force than perhaps it would have lesbian separatists.  Bisexuals could not create communities of isolation for the simple fact that many aligned with a definition of bisexuality that reflects Holly’s above, that of a merging of two sexual communities, not a rejection of one for the other.  If bisexual women were to create a separatist bisexual nation, there would be essentially no community to form.  By rejecting straight communities many bisexual women felt that they would be rejecting a part of themselves.  Instead, they sought out ways to integrate the two communities, gay and straight, by a concerted effort of undermining multiple systems of oppression simultaneously.

Within this mindset, many bisexual women not only reacted against lesbian feminists by establishing a separate movement focused on bi women’s concerns, but also attempted to show the commonalities between lesbians and bi women.

"I believe that gender is something between your ears, not between your legs." - Chaz Bono. I believe with this quote. This quote means, your gender is in your eyes to what you attracted to romantically or sexually. And to your heart to what you feel with someone whether it is a female or male.

Doubts about the veracity of bisexuality as an identity are not new. Variously characterized within dominant discourses of sexuality as, among other things, a form of infantilism or immaturity, a transitional phase, state of conclusion, even a lie, the category of bisexuality for over a century has been persistently refused the title of legitimate sexual identity.

8. Female bisexual.

Females kind of mysterious. You'll never know what's running through their heads until you got surprise by their actions. But sometimes or most of the time , a bi-fem will be able to know if this female is a bisexual . By just looking or observing the girl's action, they can come up with a conclusion that this girl might be a bisexual.

While researching, I found this article entitled “Myths about  bisexual women”  by Stefan Anitei. They Said that sexual orientation was found to lie on a smooth continuum, and the way people state their orientation is often a poor predictor of their true sexual behaviors and fantasies. A new study published in Developmental Psychology further shows that female bisexuality is a fairly distinct sexual orientation, not something experimental or a passage to lesbianism.

Although, sexual attractions appear fairly stable, sexual identities and behaviors are more fluid. This fluid may be an inevitable consequence of the fact that most young women experience attractions for both sexes. This non-exclusivity leaves open the possibility for multiple identities and behaviors over time, even when attractions remain stable. Bisexuality is merely a phase in which people experiment with their sexuality until they develop a heterosexual or lesbian orientation. For these so-called “bi-curious” individuals, bisexuality is an intermediate sexuality that eventually develops into either an exclusively same-sex or exclusively other-sex orientation.

“I think people are born bisexual and the make subconscious choices based on the pressures of the society. “ It’s natural to be a bisexual because sometimes you’ll feel something different inside. Women are more generally heterosexual, because we have required men in order to be able to continue the human race. But women have also been attracted to other women because of our tendency to be more caring.

Nowadays, it doesn’t matter if you’re dating both sexes because people already expect that in females.  Women often feel more than ‘just’ friendship for their girlfriends. Perhaps this is why in society, bisexual women are considered more ‘normal’ than bisexual men. We have this subconscious feeling that men are supposed to be one way or the other, not anywhere in between.

2. Bisexuality and relationships.

If they are attracted to both sexes, would they be more likely have an affair?

In a world with full of questions, you really don't know what the truths and lies is. We know in ourselves that there's a question that has never been answered yet. And I know some people are questioning this too. So, I did a research about it. Well, some people have their own opinions about this. They have their own explanation based on their experience. And people have their own definition about bisexuality and their relationships.

While researching, I came across "Different bisexuality and relationshipsIby Jennifer Moore". She discussed about what kind of bisexual you are and what kind of relationship you were having. If they be more likely to have an affair or something. There are some definitions about bisexuality and relationships:

Monogamy For a bi person in a monogamous (one partner) relationship, calling themselves bisexual says something about their potential to be with either a woman or a man. It doesn't mean they need both right now.It may mean that supposing they split up with their current partner, they could imagine being with either a woman or a man next.

Non-monogamy - Some bi people are in non-monogamous relationships. Even then, it doesn't necessarily mean that they choose to be with one man and one woman. They may be with two men, or two women, or some other combination. They may be non-monogamous for reasons unconnected with bisexuality.

Celibacy - Just because you have the potential to be with women or men, doesn't mean you necessarily want to be with either.

Currently single Like anyone, bi people may be "waiting for the right person to come along".

More on non-monogamy Not all non-monogamous relationships involve bisexuality or even homosexuality. Example one woman may have two male partners who are not sexual with each other. But non-monogamy is associated with bisexuality in many people's minds, so it's a subject that tends to come up in bi-education. Also, bisexuality and non-monogamy have a stereotype in common: that someone is indiscriminate about their sexual choices.

I have read a letter on the internet about a bisexual that her bisexual girlfriend ended up a relationship with men. It's a "Can I trust a bisexual woman?" by Benjamin Caplan who answered the question of a bisexual girl. It depends on people how they treat themselves as a bisexual. How they understands what bisexual is. But I think it's up to a person how they can manage this kind of relationships and situation. But for some, they were just saying that they were bisexual but not and they were using a real bisexual female for personal satisfaction.

But for majority I guess. Bisexual female were serious with what they were having or for what they were experiencing right now. I mean, in the bisexual thing, being with the woman is a serious thing. And being a bisexual.

2. What can influence a woman to be a lesbian or bisexual?

You can’t say a word you’re not surely is. I mean, there is some les/bi that they don’t know they were les/bi. Some people are actually like that. Especially bisexual people. If you live in a girl world, I mean full of girls. Like for example, you’re studying in a exclusive school for girls only. You think, it would affect you to your environment? or your personality being a girl? Me myself, I really don’t know what the answer is. That’s why I’m having a research about this. But I think it still depends on people but I don’t know.

While researching, I read an article “Why are so many girls lesbian or bisexual?” by Leonard Sax. It says that, when a straight girl kisses a girl, and she finds that she likes it, then thing can happen and things can change. If a young woman finds her soul mate, and her soul mate happens to be a female, then she may begin to experience feeling she never felt before. Maybe some of girls experienced this kind of situation. And some girls, when they were still kids, they were having a crush on a girl until now so they were confused if they were lesbian or bisexual or something.

And I read some article “Am I a lesbian?” by  Kathy Belge. About questioning themselves if they were lesbian or not. Just want to share. I have encountered a straight girl. And when she transfer in a different school, with full of bisexuals, and make friends to them. Hangout with them everyday. Then one day, she suddenly falls in love with a girl. She don’t know why and she thinks that because all of her friends were bisexuals, she thinks that they influenced her. She’s with them for almost 4 years. So she’s doing what her friends do.

Every girls has their own experienced to be a les/bi. When they were a kids until now. Every girl has a questions about themselves. And I think no one choose to be like this. I guess they were chosen? They just suddenly feel it. Not intentionally. Even some girls don’t want to be les/bi. Some of them stop of what they feel but they can’t. I mean, how force yourself to stop liking same sex, it can’t.

“You know, gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender – people are people. Lesbian love, gay love, straight love, big age difference love, old love and young love, it’s all the same. Love is love.”

Let them. You’re not them. Just respect them because they were still people. They’re not harmful. Just leave them alone, with their happy life. If that what makes them happy, why not? Again. It’s their life not yours. So shut the fuck up. You don’t know everything. So let them come out.

1. Introduction

What is lesbian and bisexual?

Lesbianism, in the most simplified form, is the homosexuality of women. A female person is called a lesbian when she expresses her sexual and romantic desires toward another female. By the laws of nature all the living creatures are born with the inborn instinct to mate with opposite sex. A lesbian is a girl or a woman who is sexually and/or romantically attracted to the same sex, namely to other girls or women. A lesbian is sometimes called a gay woman, or a homosexual woman, but the word lesbian is usually preferred.

On the other hand, bisexuality is the potential to be physically, emotionally and/or sexually attracted to both men and women including transgender people. Many people engage in sexual activity with people of both genders, yet do not call themselves bisexual. Sexual identity is a personal thing. People may call themselves straight, gay,  lesbian,  bisexual or just plain sexual and have a sexual preference for both women and men. A person may identify as bisexual because of the feelings they have both genders but engage in sexual activity or have a relationship with people of only one or remain celibate.

There were too many les or bi not coming out. They never tell or show who really they are because some of them were afraid of people judgmental. They hate talking about them especially negative issues. But for les/bi doesn't care of people around them, talking about them or hearing rumors. It’s good. At least, you show them your true personality. They show what they really are. Cause people get tired talking and talking about them if they can’t see in your face that you’re affected. And they will stop.

Astral Projection

Is astral projection is danger?
I am so interested about this thing. I honestly do a practice of this even if this will lead me to death. But I only do this sometimes. I just wanted to feel how cool is this. I have classmate and he said that his sister told him a story about the friend of her sister. The friend is always doing an astral projection. The friend of her sister have boyfriend in a USA. And she is here in the Philippine. She always do that astral projection when she were sleeping. When she asleep, she always travel in the USA and go to her boyfriend. Then she saw her boyfriend and her boyfriend saw her. But only the spirit of the girl the boyfriend sees. And her boyfriend knows that she is doing an astral projection again. That’s why this is cool for me.

The idea of astral travel is rooted in common worldwide religious accounts of the afterlife in which the consciousness or soul's journey or "ascent" is described in such terms as an out-of-body experience, wherein the spiritual traveler leaves the physical body and travels in his/her subtle body (or dream body or astral body) into ‘higher’ realms." It is therefore associated with near death experiences and is also frequently reported as spontaneously experienced in association with sleep and dreams, illness, surgical operations, drug experiences, sleep paralysis and forms of meditation.
http://moondanceroriginals.files.wordpress.com/2012/08/astral-travel.jpg?w=593It is sometimes attempted out of curiosity, or may be believed to be necessary to, or the result of, some forms of spiritual practice. It may involve "travel to higher realms" called astral planes but is commonly used to describe any sensation of being "out of the body" in the everyday world, even seeing one's body from outside or above. It may be reported in the form of an apparitional experience, a supposed encounter with a doppelganger, some living person also seen somewhere else at the same time. So if you imagine a friend's house, you will likely zap there in an instant. If you imagine your body back in bed, you will quickly return to it. And if you expect to see an astral chord connecting you to your body, it will materialize for you.
